Non-duty Captain
When navigating at sea, there are situations in which the captain must be notified. If we talk about what these situations are. Namely;
• Any changes in speed and direction in the wind
• In the case of floating objects that may interfere with the current at sea, swell or travel.
• When it is necessary to change the route
• Before lowering sails, a step required or before hitting through the window
• Land, lighthouse or island, which is one of the navigational references
• Any unusual reversal or change in air or onboard
• When bilge water rises
• When the planned cruise target to be achieved is reached
• Two nautical miles insight
• When the boat is searched or notified by other stations for various reasons
