Things to Do When Returning to the Marina

If we talk about what are the things to do when returning to the marina after the cruise;

• After abortion to the shore, the rudder tiller, if any, must be removed. Otherwise, the boat may hit other boats or docks.

• If your boat is motorized, you need to make sure to turn off the main power switch after approaching the shore.

• Auxiliary and main machines should be checked and if there are problems, repairs should be made.

• The oil in the machine oil tray must be discharged to the collection center in the marina.

• For outboard engines to completely drain the seawater, the boat must be placed vertically after the boat is anchored.

• The sails should not be in a printed state after the sailing boat is absorbed into the marina. If the sails are wet, they must be removed and laid somewhere.
