Tirhandil Cup Continues in Bodrum

The excitement of the Tirhandil Cup, which started in the second week of December 2019, continues.

Tirhandil Cup 2019-2020 3rd leg of 6 stages, which started on 7-8 December 2019, has been completed. Continuing with the participation of 17 Tirhandil, the trophy will continue as the 4th leg on February 01-02, the 5th leg on March 14-15 and the 6th leg on April 18-19.

Indicating that one of the aims of the contest is to protect the historical values above the water, Eren Budaklı, the manager of the Nautica Goods, said, “Tirhandil, which has been preserved its importance from the ancient times until now, is a wooden boat operated with a rowing and sailing in the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea. It was named after the Ancient Greek trekhantiri / trechenderi / triakene and means “one / three”. We believe that Tirhandil, which is very important for our maritime culture, and such activities are a very good platform for transferring our forgotten maritime values to new generations.”
