Warning to seafarers preparing to return to the marina

Stating that there is an intense life on the seas as well as life on land, our country, which is surrounded by seas on three sides, warned the sailors due to the suddenly high temperature on the coasts.

Stating that the seafarers have begun to return to the marina quickly due to the air temperature rising above 40 degrees in the Aegean and the Mediterranean, Nautica Goods website's Manager Eren Budaklı said, “Many countries make the coronavirus measures more flexible. Apart from seafarers living in their boats, many seafarers remained at home during the virus prevention process. When entering the summer season, boats should make some preparations in advance to have a smooth season at sea. Especially maintenance and repair work of the boat must be done. Besides routine maintenance, the most important process to be done before and at the end of the season is boat cleaning. He said that the right chemical products should be preferred in boat cleaning.

Speaking to the knotted seafarers, the pre-season statement said, “Even if the seafarers who could not deal with their boat during the coronavirus precautions process or who were away from their boat did not care for the season before starting the season, they should check their boat again and have it done if there are any maintenance and repair to be done”. he said.
